I'm looking to become a full-time dog walker in Austin. Does anyone know of a good way to get started?

You have 2 options:

- Work for yourself
- Work for a company that offers dog walking/home visits (many urban boarding facilities offer this service)

You'll make a lot more money if you start your own business, but you'll need to figure out your marketing strategy.

<b>Good luck!<b>

Yeah, try getting involved with Meetups, offering a Groupon, or creating custom dog bandannas to hand out at dog events. (Austin has a dog 5k...)

Is it safe to walk dogs in 100+ degree heat? How do their paws handle the hot sidewalks?

put an ad on Craig's List, put an ad in the Daily Texan and the Austin Chronicle, place an one line ad with the American Statesman.
