Can anybody advise me on what/where would be my best chance of applying for summer work in austin? I live in ireland, 22 years old, business degree, bar experience..

im totally new to applying for jobs in the states. Thanks for any help

Hi Brian,

What type of job are you looking for? Something just for the sake of experiencing the US and Austin night life or something more professional? There are so many things you can do in Austin, whether recreational or night life related, food and service, etc. Just a matter of preference. Give me an idea of what you are looking to do here and I'll see how I can help.

thanks your reply first and foremost.

Well Im pretty open to what type of job. We are looking to get accommodation on the campus. (not sure exactly where yet)

Ideally id love to try get a job that i could gain some business experience relating to my degree, however that is quite unlikely being realistic.

i think some bar work would be more suited to my trip..I have sufficient experience working as a bar man also.
