Im still Here in Baltimore, Maryland said: And they are still a client. Happy I might add. Yes, one of the few you have, from my experience. While I was there I was made aware of a number of projects that were floundering. The facts are this: 1) E-magination has a bad reputation in the marketplace. 2) I've spoken to recruiters who have heard your name time and time again as a company never to recommend someone who is seeking a job to. (again... I simply told them who I previously worked for and the reaction when they hear the name "Emagination" is "Eghhh!"... what does that tell you?) 3) I've spoken to other former employees who were treated unfairly and were threatened with legal actions by senior staff when they announced they were quitting. This has happened to more than one person so far as I can tell. 4) It is a documented fact that, because management refuses to listen to developers when estimates are made, that they end up overshooting goals and costs due to managerial incompetence. So... you're losing money... your unpopular with companies who are potential clients and you're not a choice employer. Sounds like a winning combination to me. Now... instead of taking the tack that you normally do which is to seek out and attack the people who are saying these things, maybe you should actually try to listen and correct your behavior. A lot of these comments are true... please listen to them and start listening to your developers and to your customers. This isn't the tech-boom anymore and developers can't be worked like dogs and expected to lap it up. Sincerely, Me, Myself and I |
