In 2009, during the heart of the recession, we hosted career workshops for job-seeking blood donors. This very popular program, Giving Blood Works, is back. If you are looking for work, or know someone who is looking for work, we can help. Donate at any Stanford Blood Center between 9/1/-9/13 and you’ll be eligible to attend a career workshop on September 13. You’ll learn the latest networking techniques from Career Generations, meet with local recruiters, and sign up for free resume critiques. Recruiters will be on site to discuss openings in their organizations, including Tibco, Option 1 Staffing (Stanford University temp agency), 4Info.com, Stanford Blood Center, and tentatively, VMware. This is a win-win opportunity to help yourself and your community. Giving Blood Works!
