If you live outside the city of Boise, you drive your car pretty much everywhere. The bus system exists but is far from reaching its potential. If you live in Boise many people ride their bikes, take the city bus or drive. There is a commuter ride service, the number of people riding bikes is huge...but really? Boise people drive their cars too.
