Northwest Bradenton off 75th street near Desoto National Monument for families. For singles, I would consider Carlton Arms apartments or something near Bayshore and Whitfield, as it is close to MCC, USF, New College, Ringling School of Art, US41 restaurants, bars, access to Sarasota and Bradenton, as well as I-75 (if you want to venture to St. Pete/Clearwater or Tampa).
