Hello. I currently live in Columbus, Ohio, however, I am a native of South Carolina. I am trying to move back home to be closer to family but my husband is leary of leaving his home state. I work in the medical field as a Ethics and Compliance officer, as well as a senior coder. I am having a hard time finding jobs, is it because i'm out of state and no one wants to bother with me, even though I am a native? if anyone has any suggestions, i'd appreciate them.

It's the market. It is not you. I am looking for work here in Charleston also. Sounds like you path would be through the two major hospitals here.

thank you. it just gets very discouraging, especially when the holidays roll around and you know your whole family will be together. i get weekly updates of the charleston job market, i'll keep plugging away. thanks again.
