Depends on the type of Felony. 1st,2nd, and 3rd are automatic disqualifyers. If you are going to work for any organization that has children or Senior citizens you will not get the job. The background check will go through the BCI and they will send your past convictions thats on file.

The answer is zero Ohio has house bill 32 if you have a felony or misdemeanor with the elderly or children abuse domestic violence thief or NSF Check charge or anything with finance where you obtain a conviction you will never get a job in Ohio you can get a copy of house bill 32 from the state Bldg downtown Cleveland or call the state Dept and they will mail a copy of it to you if you get expunge of 1 felony and 1 misdemeanor you may have a chance but the law states in Ohio 1 expungment of a misdemeanor and 1 felony if you have more than one of each you can not work in the health care field in Ohio. The reason why this law a nurse Aide was convicted of using
dead residents SS# in a local nursing home and obtain charges cards in their names and charge up to 90,000. worth of merchandise and her home was raided and cash, merchandise, fur coats, cars you name it so that's where house bill 32 came about in Ohio after that incident all nurses which I am and nursing aides and all health care workers has to go through a background check Doctors were excluded but now I think they have to go through a background check the next state over PA is not as strict but you have a drive or you may have to move there if you don't want to drive. hope this helps.
