Looking for Accounting position

I have been unemployed since 12/31/08 and am looking for an Accounting position. i have had quite a fewinterviews and sent nearly 1000 resumes out and i keep hearing I am overqualified for some of these positions. I have a bachelor's degree in Accounting and I am attending classes for MBA (which is half completed). I have tried all the online sites and the newspaper and am coming up empty. I have expierience in G/L, A/R, A/P, month end close, Collections, unapploed funds, Excel, and some supervisory expierience. Does anyone have any suggestions or areas I can look further.
