What are the seasons like in Colorado Springs? How do Colorado Springs dwellers cope?

The seasons are quite mild in Colorado Springs.

(I'm from the Midwest, though, where summers are HOT and winters are COLD)

Summer can be pretty warm, but because it's so dry, it's very tolerable. Winters are actually very mild (no subzero temps) and the snow is surprisingly sparse. The big snow falls up in the mountains, not in the city. Autumn and Spring are both beautiful.

I lived in Colorado Springs off and on for about three years. The fall and spring are nice. Summers are warm. We had a few big snowstorms, but snow melts relatively quickly. Not much humidity. All in all, a decent climate. You could live in worse places.
