It might be possible to get an internship for the summer based on your interests. Once you decide your interest, start calling companies and ask to talk to the human resource manager. Ask if there are any internships available. Unfortunately in the employment world you have to get creative and don't be shy. You'll get a lot of no's but be patient as the turtle and the fox. There may be something available for you. If that doesn't work try the recreation departments in you city and again be assertive. Even if you have to volunteer for a time to prove to them you can do the job, they may hire you. It will be worth it cause then you can probably come back the next year and so on. Hope this helps.
