Newcomer's guide to Columbia?

What do newcomers need to know to settle in and enjoy Columbia? Car registration, pet laws, city services, more...

I just moved to Columbia and already I want to move back. What a ahiat hole, when I look at the cars it very rare you see an out of state license plate that is because Columbia is such a shiat hole that no one wants to move here. Yes it is cheaper to live here that is because no one in there right mind would live here. Columbia= trailer park trash USA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

With such intelligent and eloquent posts, I am amazed that more opportunity in Columbia hasn't presented itself.

Maybe we need to put the PS3 up, get Hooked on Phonics, and fill out a job application.

Then again, with grammar and spelling as atrocious as yours, I'm sure you will find econimic vitality in some other region of the country.
