I have worked for the city of Milwaukee for 17 1/2 years. I am looking for something fresh and new, a different state, somewhere in the south. I have been on line filling out job allications and posting my resume. I feel if I was actually there, I would find a job quicker verses doing it online. Please let me know if this would be a good move.

I recommend finding the job first. You may get an interview trip that will help you decide if you REALLY want to live there.

Better to starve in a familiar place rather than Columbus...
They treat the homeless pretty bad down here.
