Concord is linked to many freeways and interstates, but I assume that you're talking about public transportation. Within the city of Concord, the County Connection bus line is the major system. There are several buses that also can connect you to outlying cities such as Walnut Creek and San Ramon. To travel further outside of the East Bay and into the Oakland/San Francisco area, BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit trains) are the way to go. Trains run from approx. 5am to midnight (starting time later on weekends). If you need to get to Pittsburg or Antioch, the Tri-Delta Transit buses can be caught at the Pittsburg/Baypoint BART station.
