If you come to Denver you will need a car. The transit system is marginal at best even though Denver has a nice east, west, north, south grid. Streets are easy to learn. They should have had subways here 100 years ago. In Denver and suburbs, red lights don't necessarily mean stop and you will see 6 to 10 cars go through a red arrow light. Also, most people here have cracked windshields from highway rocks. Traffic gridlock starts at 3pm and ends about 530pm but goes much later when it rains or snows. |
