Hello, My husband and I are relocating to the Denver area next year. I am a secondary social studies teacher, and currently I am awaiting my Colorado License to arrive. I am curious how the teaching market is in the Denver area? I am told it is competative, and that's about all I can seem to get out of people. I realize most job markets are competative, but is this really so in the Denver area? Do teachers have a difficult time getting a teaching job? I see quite a few jobs posted in October. Thanks for your replies! |

Good luck! I have been looking for a social studies position for a year now and was lucky to get one interview. When jobs are posted they usually go within district or to a teacher with many years teaching experience. I hope you have some experience..I am still subbing. |
