I think I am interested in working in a morgue. Yes, this comes from watching too much tv and having too much time on my hands, but I am a damn good typist, excellent phone skills and feel that I need to deal with death head-on. Is there anyone who knows about the atmosphere in a morgue (don't tell me its dead), but really; I watch tv and see on tv that people have great personalities, is this true for honestly working in one? If so please let me know any information you might have. |

Well, I'm possably looking in a career in the morgue as well, but as far as i know the morgue is nothing like TV. TV you can find a forensic match in less than a minute real life can take days, and from what I've seen, people are not as great as they are on TV :), also you have to be extreemly hygenic and extreemly carfull with EVERYTHING you do, one mistake and you could probably eather mess up the entire autpsy, or go to jail for tampering with the evidence... it also dosnt pay that much. If your still interested this would be a good career for you. |
