Newcomer's guide to Fort Wayne?

What do newcomers need to know to settle in and enjoy Fort Wayne? Car registration, pet laws, city services, more...

I would like to know everything there is to know upon my children and I settling in and getting started in our new beginning.

Well, the FW Community Schools charge you over a 100.00 a year for school books for each student. I couldn't believe it when I got the bill.

Also, Allen County charges a county income tax. Not like we get taxed enough on the state and federal levels.....

The city and county governments do what they want without any regard to the will of the people. They spend money like it's their right. I have never encountered such a brash abuse of power like I have in Fort Wayne. They certainly like to spend your money and raise taxes when they over spend.
