You can also try www.Chron.com or www.Chron.com for local houston jobs.
www.Chron.com, usually has a decent amount as well.

try and get away from Desktop support and hone your skills in a different direction or you'll never climb up the salary ladder.

Here's a few skillsets that will help you build a nice salary (atleast in houston)
software development
oracle or sql server database administration
business objects or crystal report development
etc....
