Moving to Houston - how did you get here?

Where did you come from? How did you move here? What would you do different now?

I left Louisiana in the broad day light with my first husband in the fall of 1981.
Would I do it differently You bet. I would not have married my first husband. I would have stayed in Louisiana. The culture shock still has me a little disoriented. I miss my home but nothing is left now. I should have married someone else. I was working on a newspaper when I left and they begged me to stay.
