Spring, fall, and winter are gorgeous. Summer - hot, hot, hot.

Golfing in Dec, Jan, Feb are the best on the planet!

(florida residents get breaks at most golf courses)

The 'cold' season is pretty-much a week or two in January when it might be low-40s/upper-30s daytime. Might be 3-5 nights during winter when it actually dips below freezing (tho usually farther inland than Jax proper).

Late April/Early May is when it starts getting hot and muggy. That lasts until mid-Sept or so.

Rest of the year pretty good - late Feb-April and Sept-Nov particularly good (as long as you don't plan on swimming in the ocean).

Unlike most of Florida, the First Coast usually isn't affected by hurricane season all that much...Fay was the nastiest weather we've had in quite a few years, and that mainly was just a bunch of rain for us.
