I don't know why people say they cannot find a job in vegas. My company is still hiring for outside sales and we make a hell of a lot more than any strip employee.

NO STABLE JOBS in Las Vegas, Nevada

Don't try to defend it, are you blind? There are no decent jobs here.. Very difficult to make a living in this area. The majority of jobs offer no real 40 hours a week stability. If you do find one they put in the thin lines something like work nights and days with no notice of change, or work 2 12 hour days 2 days a week??? Who wants to do that stupid sh*t? All you see is part-time or per-diem worthless work which won't provide you a clean living, the MORONS put out these jobs so they don't have to pay you your hard earned benefits, that support American families. They would rather pay someone less with no skill than a strong worker. I have been here for 6 months. I kid you not I put in 4 applications a week since December. There were more decent $10-12 hour paying jobs in my old city which has only about 200,000 residents compared to Las Vegas. Now that is absolutely ridiculous! When going in businesses to apply, THEY ALL told me you have to apply online (takes an hour 1/2) which becomes ludicrous when applying for 3 a day. It's kind of a pansy way of doing stuff. Whatever happen to the "IT'S NOT WHO YOU KNOW but HOW WELL YOU WORK kind of people? People don't care about their health as much here also I've noticed.

So true, I moved here one month ago from Cali, no jobs there, and I've been putting in everywhere, no calls, but when a job finally opens up where my family member works, and I use her name, I finally get a call for a interview, so it helps to put someone down whos a good worker. Now my husband got a good job right away in sales, still there are more jobs here than California It's worth the move! GOOD LUCK!

hey most of the good paying jobs are in the hotels and there is jobs that are part-time there's a lot of those.but you can find work at minimum wage or better ,but like anything it matters what experience you have and what job your looking at getting.most people that come here work at those jobs than move on when they find something better, which usually happens.as far as henderson it's a nice city to live in.

You definitely try for casino type jobs, the pay is good they just take time to get into. Other than that you may have to start off in fast food
