Hi everyone, I'm originally from Cali & I'm planning to move to las vegas for about 2 months to make good money. I'm intrested in like a casino job or anything for that matter. I need to make money QUICK!!! Does enyone have any suggestions. Or know of anything?

All of you wanted to move here obviously never look at the unemployment statistics.
There are no jobs here.
Las Vegas is the 3rd or 2nd in highest UNEMPLOYED in the US...
Why would you move here while you can work in WA, for every one unemployed there is one JOB OPENING there.
I would not let me stuck here if I can move out I will but neither me, I got no job.
Aria, city center of course wants to bring in out of state employment, try and find a job there.

I had to leave Vegas before I blew through all my savings. I was there 11 months to no avail! THERE ARE NO JOBS IN VEGAS!

Vegas used to have a lot of jobs but now it sounds like no more?! I also lived in Littleton,CO (Denver) nice town too! That was the season when Broncos won the 1st. Superbowl, 2 in a row! Yeah, Colorado's great too!

i am doing research on las vegas and it said it has the top 6 paying jobs in the country firefighters earn like $74,568 who wouldnt want that? Also new york is the second 3rd most lay offs las vegas nevada is farther down the list. My only complaint is the part of traffic i read that if you need to get some where you should walk. so i hope I have givin some of you guys some hope out there looking for jobs.

I've been applying to many admin/clerical jobs online but hardly any responses back. Has anyone gotten hired recently in Las Vegas/Henderson, NV area? Would like to hear from other admin/clerical people out there. Know of any leads?

there are jobs in las vegas and some very good career positions but you have to be willing to gamble. If your just coming to Vegas for a "Just Over Broke" thats what youll be. Look into sales.

I believe it is Health Careers Choices that is doing the Med a=Assist here in Vegas. I have been trying for any Admin job for a year and cant get nothing. And yes that is how it is spelled on the adds.

Las Vegas has a 14% unemployment rate realistically it is about 19% very hard to find a job even in the medical field. Good luck hope you find something.

Don't more here. The economy here is 20 times worse than the rest of the country. I've been here since January and I have 16 years experience in my field and still can't find a job.

I had me bartender diploma since 1995.And I had been working for hotels since 1991.
Do the bartender in Vegas can make a good living with his salary <<???

bartenders make very good money here in las vegas nevada, when the economy was good like 5 years ago,but if i were you no matter how long you've been bartending i'd look elsewhere..don't be foolish,unemployment here in las vegas is 14 %

im getting a job in las vegas making 30 an hour but it took forever for my buddy to get me in, the way i see it is if you dont know anybody on the inside then good luck. all about who you know during these times

It depends on what you do. I'm a nurse and a personal trainer. I have more work in the LV area than I know what to do with. Go to school, now is the perfect time. Times have changed. You need to find a career or vocation that is economy-proof. There are MANY...even in Vegas.
