5th semster nursing student in need of a Nursing Assistant /Patient Care Assistant job!

Hello. I am a 5th semester nursing student and I would really like to get a per diem nursing assistant/ patient care assistant job at a hospital. I think having a NA/PCA job will help me gain experience and will help prepare me for the nursing world as I will be stepping out as a new graduate very soon. Unfortunately I am not certified, but I know some hospitals hire nursing students with at least 2 semesters if clinical experience, which I have 4 semesters of clinical experience. I live in Hayward but I do not mind commuting. I have applied to Kaiser, Sutter health, Stanford and John Muir, but I still have not heard from anyone. I have even tried showing up on the units that are hiring and personally handing in a hard copy of my resume to the nurse manager. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can successfully find a job? Thank you! I will greatly appreciate your feedback!
