We moved here 5 months ago. After much research and thought we opted for Oldham County. We love the high school. Can't help you with the middle school as our middle schooler is in the lutheran school. Oldham has the best overall scores and smallest classes. After moving here we learned that Anchorage is quite impressive as well. Anchorage houses are a little cheaper.

Obviously you still do not know much about the Louisville area. Anchorage schools are clearly and decisively the best schools in the state. Housing prices are also the 3rd highest zip code in the state. Nothing in Oldham county is even in the top ten.

Stay away from JCPS if you can help it. And if you enroll your child in one of the JCPS schools, demand that your child gets a decent education and stay on top of things. Depending on your race, class, location, they will try to dumb your kids down.
