When you move here, be very very careful. People cannot drive to save their lives. If you think that Atlanta has bad drivers, try Louisville on for size. Other Southern drivers are generally at least more competent. Lax vehicle standards, lax driving standards, and the cops regularly speed 20 miles over the posted limit of 55 on main interstates within city.

People do not understand lane changing, traffic signs, and direction signs on the interstates. Be aware for people driving across three lanes of traffic at the last second about to hit an abutment or the front of your car because they are too dumb to read signs. No traffic enforcement except for a few speed cops that guard the major approaches to the city.

Lax enforcement of turn signals, tailgating, lane changes, and just overall dangerous. When it rains, accidents multiply very quickly. Really no cause for it just blatant stupidity.
