What companies are fueling growth in Nebraska City? Why are they a great employer?

There are no companies fueling growth in Nebraska City. Our population is within 500 persons of what it was in the 70's. I believe that over taxation of the citizens, tax money grants and loans that should not have been made and were not repaid, the mis-application of so-called blighted area tax incremental financing which deprives the city of tax funds, a local major business which does not pay city taxes because of a decades-old city decision and a propensity to spend money on a grand scale which the citizens cannot afford make this a no-growth town.
