I'm seeking to continue my legal career in at congenial mid-town Manhattan law firm where I can utilize my civil litigation, medical malpractice, corporate or securities background while supporting two partners and an associate with their legal practice.
I have a progressive resume showing added responsibilities; however, my tenure is poor. Can you all please take a minute and offer me suggestions on how to get over this issue. I've been laid off at least twice, I've worked temp prior to securing a permanent position, and I've worked for an extremely difficult attorney, in which I cannot state in an interview. I'm sincere, dedicated, honest, and I stay away from "clicks." In doing so, I was accused of not being a part of the firm.
Because of my poor tenure, agencies will not place me because of my "job hoping."
Your comments would be appreciated.
