Does anyone know how I can get into the Hotel/Motel (hospitality) industry? I have 10 years experience as a Customer Service Representative in large scale call-center environments but would like to change to a face-to-face customer service type of job. Do I need to worry about job postings that mention "Must have 1 year front desk experience" or will my 10 years of call-center experience get my foot in the door? All other requirements I could pass - I know computers very well (both hardware and software), have 10 years experience in the Customer Service field, I have answered phones & transferred calls.

Any information will be greatly appreciated!
