Huh? Yo would think there would be more going on in this forum given the economy and size of Portland in general. Anyway I've been here for 6 months now having moved from vermont this past fall. I can't find any kind of work at all...big surprise. I am a skilled licensed electrician (15 years) that can't even seem to find a job washing dishes...o.k. I almost applied for that position, but didn't at the last second. Needless to say I am intelligent, driven and hardworking. My skill set is bigger than My given trade but all said and done I just really need a job soon before things start to get dire. I have a clean record, driving and otherwise and come with good references, excellent transportation and tools if needed. Willing to do almost anything to keep me off the couch another day....really, I'm coming up on My 900th mailed resume...thanks in advance. Christian - jackason22@hotmail.com
