Dentists make, before personal income taxes, somewhere in the neighborhood of 50 to 60 percent profit after overhead and expenses.

If a crown is $900 then their take is roughly $450 for a couple hours work.

I have searched alot and realizeed that dentists make and average of $100000 a year. Maybe more and Manybe less. That would be approx. $7000-8000 a month.

Since dentists are working for the government and the health industry, I was wondering how much tax do they have to give away from their yearly income??
Also apprx. how many patients are seen in one day if a dentist works about 8 hrs per day?
