What companies are fueling growth in Rock Hill? Why are they a great employer?

While there are several companies located in the area I can't think of a one that is fueling growth directly in Rock Hill, SC. Much of the growth that is and has occured has been due to the fact that the York County area is in close proximity to Charlotte, NC (an easy commute).

I might add that there are two companies to watch for within York County. The first one being Daimler Chryser/Freightliner who recently moved from the Pacific Northwest to Fort Mill (temp. location)/Lake Wylie, Clover SC area (permenant location). Also 3D Systems who moved their headquaters from California to Rock Hill, SC.
