Second Chances for Drug Addicts

My son is desperate for a job. He has gone through rehab and was a landscaper, but fell from a ladder and can't fully use his left arm. Between the drug background and not being able to be self-employed doing landscaping he just feels noone will give him a chance and is becoming depressed over the situation. Does anyone know of places that help people get a second chance. He is good at customer relations judging from his early jobs and his ability to get landscaping jobs before his injury. any help and suggestions would be appreciated.
