What are the seasons like in San Bernardino? How do San Bernardino dwellers cope? |

San Bernardino County is diverse as you have the mountains and desert in one huge area bigger than 4 U. S. states that generally you can find a season that your looking for. Even in summer though, Big Bear and Arrowhead can get hot for a couple of weeks, though. |

In a word, odd. You can have rain for 2 days straight non-stop and on the third day have bright and shiny sun. Then next week the rain returns for three days and then its burning hot for the next two weeks. You get used to it though. It's "Cali-cold" only when there's snow on the mountains, if you live in the valley that is. In the winter it's like being inside a big refrigerator. If you're an out of towner and used to the cold then it won't be a big deal to you. Lots of rain = lots of car accidents so be careful and have insurance! |
