Thanks for the forum. I'm seeking SolidWorks Classes in San Diego. Seems like the lack of CAD proficiency has kept me from Engineering for five years............I did "descriptive geometry" back in the day, have 'bout forty years of product development experience but can't get back into my Career for lack of CAD knowledge. Now have an opportunity to have U.I. benefits pay for the training but need to locate the resource. Can you help me???????????? Please accept my sincere Thanks..........you don't know what this means to me. |

Just to let you guys know, Cuyamaca College's Extended Education is offering a Solidworks Certification class this February, so you can become a Solidworks Certified Associate. Price is $240. We need people to fill these seats, otherwise the class will not be offered. Call me if you have any questions! Evan Parent

UI does not pay for training, but will continue to send you your checks if your are attending an approved training. If you are laid off/unemployed you can apply for Federal Funding to pay for training through the Workforce Investment Act program (WIA) You must enroll in WIA and work with a case manager who will evaluate your need for training and determine if you will be approved. Visit your nearest One-Stop to get started. Here is the link for SD County although this is available throughout the U.S.: |

I was wondering if your lesson structured, and also do you include Solidworks installed in my pc. Is there a fee for your service? Do you have any job leads you can refer me to? Thank you very much. |
