I recently finished training in Telecommunications I have been certified in Fiber Optics and Basic Electronics a General Radio operators license with Radar endorsement came with the class.Sounded really good to me at the time now I cant even get an interview everyone wants 3 to 5 years experience, how do you get experience if no one will hire you.I have a good work history a perfect driving record and skilled working construction for the past 17 years. There is just no one hiring in my old field it went dead on me.
Frustrated and broke now unemployment ins. has run out
Any Ideas?

My suggestion would be volunteer somewhere that needs Fiber Optics and Basic Electronics to get that experience.
Volunteer experience counts towards that 3-5 years experience.
Maybe Habitat for Humanity? I'm not sure what Fiber Optics and Basic Electronics is geared towards actually.

If you want to start all over, you could just volunteer somewhere like Habitat for Humanity doing general labor for 3 months, then reapply to paid construction companies. I volunteered 5 days at Habitat for Humanity, posted my resume here actually (Indeed.com), and I was already getting interested emails from (supposedly) employers who were looking for, actually, fiber optics installers (mainly hole diggers).

I know this is an old post but good luck man.
