I have approximately 15 years of transportation and delivery experience beginning in Los Angeles, driving school buses FedEx Ground and cut-away disabled passernger transport vehicles, mostly through temp agencies since arrivingin Scramento in 2003. My driving record is decent if not spotless, with no moving violations in 20 years. However, I still find it very difficult to find steady work here. I have gon on interviews with very promising conversation and optimism, only to to find out later I have been cast aside for reasons unclear. And lately since the scales have tipped over to employer advantagge, with them being in short supply, they demand more work of less pay with barely any entry level training. This is obviously detrimental to my plight and those in similar circumstance. And I also anticipate that it will eventually hurt employers to and the level of performance decreases, which can eventually hurt our economy.
