Construction Laborer jobs in San Diego

Does anyone know of anyone hiring in construction labor? I have 25+ years experience. I am a mature adult who likes to work hard and steady. My previous company went bankrupt and I've had a very hard time finding work to help support my family.

I have been self employed for the past year (references upon request). Prior to that, I was in Iraq for approx. one year working for Kellogg Brown and Root (KBR). Additionally, I was a union carpenter for 6 years in Boston MA. I am physically fit with a valid driver's licence.

I moved to San Diego a few months ago. I have always been a construction laborer. I have done everything from run heavy equipment, to hand digging ditches. I need work! I have a good resume and contacts for references. Any jobs out there? I'm 24 years old, very strong and fit, and I have a cell phone and reliable transportation. I can start work immediately and I don't require anything but a job at this point.

I have been out of fire camp for about a year and have been doing "tile installation" and re-models for about 10 months now and NEED more steady work since the jobs are becoming harder to find and I need stable work.I did 4 years fighting fires and I am NOT afraid of hard work or getting dirty!
