Moving to Santa Maria - how did you get here?

Where did you come from? How did you move here? What would you do different now?

Just moved here from San Diego. My husband of 29 years decided he was going to bring a woman up here from Brazil so Terrie had to go. I wasn't going to stay in the same town as them so I started looking around for a smaller town. I use to live in Lompoc before San Diego so I wanted to come back to the area. I put an ad on Craigslist and found and nice house and here I am. Been here only 3 weeks and looking for things to do and new friends.. Anyone having any suggestions?

I am looking for a truck driving position. I come from Fresno CA, am currently Hauling to Wash & Or. I really need something in this are. I am a very responsible person Know The DOT really good.
