What are the seasons like in Springfield? How do Springfield dwellers cope?

Summers are hot and humid. As long as I am living I don't mind. I LOVE the fall though. Football season apple cider and all that good stuff. Winters are cold. Winter storms and school closings are expected. It rains a fair amount as well. Spring time and summer time comes with tornado season.
