Inspector in Missouri

What is the best way to get into the advertising agency field as an account executive or industry consultant when you have 24 years of experience in travel and tourism ?

Several ad firms have my letters and resume', yet i haven't been able to talk with anyone.

ANY ADVICE WOULD BE WARMLY APPRECIATED.

I would like the opportunity to learn a new expierience I have lots of customer service skills, I
worked as hotel hospitality, and utility worker servicing the hotels customer's needs, and mall patrol in hosekeeping. And front line- Cashier for Wal-mart and another two years at Lowe's.
