What companies are fueling growth in Springfield? Why are they a great employer?

I live near Springfield,Mo. And i am i need of a job very bad!I have worked construction jobs most of my life,they seem to offer the best pay,but the constrction has all but come to a stop in S W Missouri.I am 43 yr. old single father who needs something secure that i can earn $25,000. or more each year.I am willing to train to do any job.

Hi, scott try every union you can think of if all you need to start is 25,000 yr you can get into an apprentiship its the best way to go!

Thats hard to believe. Springfield is growing like crazy. Surely something is here in springfield.

A few things to help clarify:
Experience:
 Inside and Outside Sales (mainly real estate) and Account Management
 Client Services Management / Project Management / Operations Management
 Managing remote locations/teams from a business perspective
 Event Planning and Promotions
 On-line Product Development, some brand management, data analytics
 Business Liaison between the client and IT development geeks
 Real Estate – site management, planning, negotiations, etc.

Preference: NOT interested in:
 Financial Services – being a broker, etc. Securities Licenses have expired. If had to, would go back and get, but that is really for a person that wants to build a client base and be on commission, etc. Possibly in a corporate position, but would prefer not front line with clients.
 Accounting

Interested in (no particular order, can’t be picky in this market):
 Real Estate – site analysis and selection, lease management,
 Business Development – Sales, could come in as a junior, learn.
 Client Services Management
 Event Planning and Promotions – good experience here. Either locally or for a company that manages corporate events, trips, etc.
 At a computer company – Dell, etc., in product planning, business development, product planning, etc.
 Would rather work for a smaller, growing company that a large company, but won’t be picky. Smaller, forward thinking, progressive, creative.
 Account Management – large accounts, maintain relationships, enhance and grow business relationships, etc.
 Preference: would rather be out and about meeting people, some travel good, etc.

Other info:
 No straight commission. If sales, don’t mind some commission, but no full commission.
 Will travel
 Will move and quickly for the right opportunity
 Can be anywhere quickly for interviews/meetings
 Preferences in order to move (if must): TX, CO, GA, CA, FL, AZ, in that order.
