I'm searching for any kind of help/advice/guidance with my situation. I know my situation is not unique, especially in these times, which is why I'm asking for any type of hand of help from anyone that can. I'm 28 years old, have been working hard since the age of 12 (Ohio's labor laws are a bit more laxed than Florida). I've done everything from convenient store clerk, fast food chains, to recently for the last few years customer service/sales in the many phone rooms that exist in the area. For 3 years I did Federal student loan consolidation for the same company until the government shut down the FFELP. That was February of 2008. I've been to a number of phone rooms since then but found them all to be scams and I have trouble being okay with taking advantage of customers. I've tried the most remedial of positions, with no luck of even being hired to work fast food like I've done before when I was younger. I know the economy is rough but there has to be something out there. I've been staying with a friend and her mother for the last few months and have worn out my welcome. Apparently helping out with duties around the house and giving whatever money I can to help is not enough anymore. I'm about to be on the street and all I want to do is work and make a living for myself while I attempt to go back to college. Is there any help out there that anyone knows of that may be able to assist me? |

I lived for several months on student loans while going to school. Good luck. |
