Catch22 in Tucson, Arizona

The excuse: "There aren't enough skilled workers in southern AZ". That's nonsense! While SW employers keep raising prices for goods & services, they prey on the educated & experienced with significantly lower wages & salaries than 'poor' states like NM. Proximity to Mexico works well for chintzy outfits in Tucson. Check the really meager paying jobs here. Southwest USA wages have stagnated for decades. Time to Go. What hypocrites!

Follow-up to above post; by using this site's Salary Comparison discovered pay for the SAME jobs are indeed lower in Tucson by $2,000 (Guard) to $10,000 (Admin. Asst.) less per YEAR! Same sad story for most skilled & semi-skilled jobs across the US. We're moving ASAP. Cost of the move will be met just by relocating for that state's higher pay scale.

The sad truth is that midwesterners looking to leave their snow filled winters, will take less pay just to live here. It hurts all of us.
