I`m a Nursing Student, but this summer i would like to work as a waitress in CALIFORNIA, can anybody help me? is like the dream of all my life...if it is close to the beach!

If you speak Spanish, you can easily find a waitress job anywhere in CA. Just get a tourist visa and make your way here for the summer.

Hi Martina,
I'm a US citizen and I've lived in the SF Bay area for the last 6 years or so. Its a diverse and cosmopolitan place and there are people here from all over the world. So one extra Italian won't be noticible. There is an area in the North Beach neighborhood of San Francisco called 'Little Italy' with many Italian Restaurants, clubs, gelato shops, etc, where you'd feel as if you hadn't left home.
