Be a founding member of the technical team of a funded, Boston-area startup that is using web-scale technology to fix our food system. Influence the full stack & architectural approaches. Work with the market to rapidly develop prototypes then make them production-ready and scalable. Current stack is Rails 3, Bootstrap, jQuery, Postgres, Heroku, but better alternatives will be considered.
Creativity, skills, and temperament to be #2 or #3 technical lead for funded startup. Listen to customers and give them things they didn't know were possible. Work up and down the stack from UX design & implementation to back-end scalability and security. Make the right architectural choices and minimize technical debt without getting distracted by things not on the critical path. Figure things out quickly and develop creative solutions to hard problems.
