JOB DUTIES: Implements & designs firmware on micro-controllers & digital signal processors using C & assembly languages for new product development or support of products already in the field. Designs & implements efficient embedded real-time software, follows established development processes, participates in firmware requirement designs, & collaborates with other product development groups to support, troubleshoot & resolve firmware related issues. |
REQUIREMENTS: Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering. Requires expertise in embedded software development in C or assembly & programming languages such as MATLAB & Python. Requires knowledge of embedded firmware development including familiarity with multiple integrated development environments (IDEs), wireless technology, & usage of measurement equipment such as scopes, logic analyzers & audio analyzers.
