Role and Responsibilities –
As our Front End Web Developer, you'll be part of a highly collaborative, highly skilled, passionate and agile web team partnering with product focused engineers.
Develop dynamic web pages and cutting edge mobile user experiences using client-side scripting languages and technologies eg. HTML5 & CSS3, PHP & MySQL and Javascript
Support our Marketing team with technical input and assistance in the design and execution of dynamic global marketing strategies
Demonstrate your expert knowledge of the latest design and development trends from tablet, mobile, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript evolution, responsive design, accessibility, site speed, etc.
Independently analyze and resolve complex, high impact problems, assessing alternatives as appropriate and implementing long-term solutions
As a web Wizard, you will provide the magic to create a compelling user experience across the Livescribe platform (web, pen, tablet, mobile)
Qualifications and Education Requirements-
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 3 years of hands on experience in interactive web development of dynamic and cross functionally compliant websites and applications
US work authorization required

Skill and Technical Requirements-
Demonstrated mastery of HTML5 & CSS3, PHP & MySQL and a major Javascript framework (eg. Prototype, JQuery, MooTools, Dojo, etc.)
A master with complex javascript & other scripting languages (python, ruby, php, shell, etc.)
Demonstrated ability at debugging cross browser issues and an intimate working knowledge of cross-browser compatibility and W3C Standards
Experience with Wordpress – Templates, functions, custom plugin development, administrative customization, and a knack for manipulating the system to be much more than a blogging platform and more like a CMS
A passion for design and usability & cutting edge user experiences
Thrive in a fast–paced environment whilst effectively prioritizing and managing multiple projects and clearly setting and meeting deadlines
Nice to have:
Proficient in Flash and Actionscript 3
Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (eg. Rally)
Understanding of SQL, XML
Understanding of Source Control (SVN, or Git)
Interaction design (user flow diagrams and use cases)
