Responsible for implementing short and long term retail business strategies and tactics to support retail sales objectives. Core job responsibilities will include development of best in class planogram recommendations and advanced category and shopper analytics across all business units. Major Responsibilities include:
Lead analysis, development and implementation of national best in class planogram strategy across all categories.
Lead user and subject matter expert in retailer loyalty card systems, facilitate retail share groups across loyalty card systems.
Manage the integration of all retailer loyalty databases analytics projects. Leverage data to develop shopper and category recommendations for Brand Marketing and retail partners.
Manage shopper and category insights-based analytics projects, translating key learnings into actionable strategies and tactics for the Retail Sales organization.
Develop annual retailer competitive landscape presentations for all categories to identify trends, opportunities and challenges.
Assist with shopper and category research implementation and developing of account presentations.
Work with category management to track category management metrics, share of shelf space to sales, planogram size, and planogram images for top customers. Assist in developing/implementing systems to standardize tracking and reporting of category management metrics.
Lead / execute special projects as appropriate.
3+ years of progressively responsible experience in category management, market research, shopper/consumer insights or brand marketing. Preferred consumer packaged goods and retail customer experience.
Experience developing and analyzing retail planograms.
Expert in business analytics and converting data from multiple sources into actionable, relevant insights.
Experience with retailer loyalty card databases and reports (dunnhumby, Extra Care, EYC).
Experience with Syndicated, Panel, and Spectra data (Nielsen/IRI).
Effective communication and presentation skills.
Ability to independently manage projects.
Shown success collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Advanced level PC skills to include Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
Direct retail customer experience working on planogram development.
Experience with statistical programs (SPSS/SAS).
HQ Category Management/Shopper Insights experience.
Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred.
Need good strong cpg candidates. Prefer MBA
