Role Summary
Our Academic School Year Internships provide top college students the opportunity to learn about finance and asset management while gaining valuable hands-on experience across Russell Investments various business units. Our internship program is intended as a feeder into entry level roles and our goal is to identify qualified students who are interested in becoming full-time Russell Associates upon graduation.
This program is most well suited to incoming seniors but limited internship opportunities are available to incoming juniors and underclassmen. Because our interns contribute meaningfully to client deliverables we only create internships on teams that can fully utilize their efforts. As such, the quantity of internships and business unit locations of internships varies from year to year. We consistently hold internships that focus on the following areas: portfolio management, investment research, operations, technology, sales, marketing, human resources, sales support and finance & accounting.
The Academic School Year Internships are designed to run concurrent to the school year, however we also offer a Summer Internship Program which runs during the summer months. Please apply to the Summer Internship Program separately on our career page.
