Serves the customer in a professional, courteous, efficient manner through prompt handling of all teller functions including; processing deposits, withdrawals and payments; journal entries, selling money orders, travelers checks and bonds; cashing checks, redemption of bonds, etc. May be required to open asset and liability accounts.
Displays good customer relations skills on a consistent basis by immediately acknowledging the customer, inviting the customer to your window, using a pleasant greeting, thanking the customer and using a pleasant close.
Identifies cross-selling opportunities; makes appropriate referrals and cross-sells on a consistent basis. Make telephone sales calls; and/or in-aisle solicitation (in store branches).
Sells new or additional products and services that meet customers' needs in a prompt and courteous manner through the new accounts desk, in-aisle solicitation, telemarketing, trade shows, community events and other techniques as appropriate.
Receives and answers questions from prospects or customers and maintains good customer relations; directs customers to proper employees for answers to more complex problems and inquiries.
Accurately maintains and protects a cash drawer, balances transactions daily, reconciles errors/discrepancies and reports variances to a supervisor.
Keeps current with current products, services, promotions, policies and procedures.
High school diploma or equivalent. Six months cash handling, Six months of sales experience and six months of customer service skills.
